Circularity in Your City

The LTA Parks Improvement Framework was to upgrade poorly conditioned tennis courts in public parks back to life bringing value, quality, physical and mental health benefits to the local communities.
Spadeoak was appointed on the LTA Tennis refurbishment framework for the south of the UK, one of the largest lots to complete the refurbishment to over 184 identified tennis courts in need of reinvigorating to support the local communities by improving the facilities, making them a safe, secure and fun area for members of the public to enjoy playing tennis.
This project at Bostall Gardens, Greenwich, London incorporated a carbon saving reduction strategy by utilising Aggregate Industries' innovative low-carbon asphalt surface course. The project brief was to resurface the double tennis court, installing a new play safe and secure fence line, tennis posts and nets, colouring the surfacing for tennis, the line marking was then added with a stylish design.
