A spontaneous photograph of the bridge of Arta while on a business trip to Arta quarry.
Taken by mobile phone intrigued by a perfect day and perfect light.
Standing from Roman times until todays urban landscape in the city of Arta crossing Araxos river.
The stone bridge comes with many legends.
The most famous says that the head-builder had to bury his wife in the foundations so that the bridge would stand : /
In the past it's highest point used to be the border between Greece and the Ottoman empire.

The builders of progress of the time did a great job!
