Nature in Your Sites/Location
Nestled between rivers and mountains, Pitt River Quarries has become the perfect backdrop for my current life. Driving into work every morning, I am met with the sheer beauty that is British Columbia. Often times I can't help but pull over and capture a snapshot of the area. One particularly sunny November afternoon, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to get some fresh air along the river before driving home for the day. I walked to the end of a trail that runs parallel with the Quarry and was in absolute awe at my luck. Sitting on a log perfectly framed by the surrounding brush was a Heron, silhouetted by the burning Autumn sunset. I couldn't help myself but to snap a photo!
