My favorite spot within Retznei cement plant is undoubtedly the water treatment plant, nestled in the heart of the plant. It boasts a picturesque pond, a serene oasis where the tranquil sounds of the nearby Mur River can be savored. This verdant haven flourishes under the warm embrace of the South Styrian sun, further enhancing its allure. Not only is the pond teeming with a diverse fish population, but it also holds personal significance. During my inaugural year at Holcim, I fondly recall partaking in a summer celebration complete with a memorable fishing contest at the pond, where I first experienced the cohesive team spirit of #teamretznei.
