Nature in Your Sites/Location

Mi casa es tu casa
This woodpecker chick is impatiently waiting for a parent to come and give it a treat.
He pokes his head out of the circular cavity drilled by its parents and inspects the surroundings.
The following spring, the shelter might be occupied by another family of woodpeckers or another species of birds such as tits, parakeets, starlings and nuthatches.
The interior will be refreshed and adapted to meet the needs of new occupants. As a consequence, the shelter will be available to watch over generations of birds and, even when the tree is dead, it will continue to foster life.
This example of circularity can be observed near my homeoffice, in peri-urban forests and areas.
Watch carefully, and you will see.
Nature shows us the path of circularity which is at the heart of life.
Let nature inspire us. Let nature live within us.
