"Whether emerging from the deepest depths or climbing the highest heights, every inch matters"
Beginning my climb up the rope, it felt like I wasn't making any progress on this 220+ foot pit climb. My body was exhausted, but rather than telling myself "I can't do this", I focused on what I COULD do. I continued telling myself "every inch matters". Sometimes the goal can seem too far away, and it can be difficult to recognize the progress we're making. Breaking goals into smaller parts helps us celebrate success along the way while keeping our eye on the ultimate objective. The more we push ourselves to achieve, the more beauty we see both around us, and within us.
