Circularity in Your City

"Sustainable mobility".

This is one of the sides of an airport that uses clean energy. This project inspire me because Holcim was part of the construction of this airport that benefits the airport network of the Valley of Mexico.

This airport has a LEED certification, two photovoltaic parks, a cogeneration power plant, nine wastewater treatment plants, and a rainwater collection system.

During construction, many species of flora and fauna were rescued and relocated. In addition, the skeletal remains of mammoths and archaeological remains found during construction, are preserved in a museum where people can visit.
