Circularity in Your City

The Nelson Sand and Gravel Plant uses a dual-clamshell dredge to mine material under the water on Grey Cloud Island in Cottage Grove, MN. This piece of equipment was built in 1994 and runs on electric power, providing material to building projects in our region using sustainable power sources. 2024 marks the 30th year of continuous operation for this Rohr Floating Grab Dredge.
