Circularity in Your City

Milaki Cement Plant where I work is located on the Greek Island of Evia and close to the city of Aliveri where I live. Α common way to enjoy my free time after work, is to walk or run by the sea. While doing one of these activities I had the opportunity to photograph a happy kite surfer with the industrial background of the cement plant. In my perception, this photograph expresses the way that industrial activity can and should coexist with the local community with absolute respect for the environment and its inhabitants and work together towards the common target of building a greener and more sustainable future.
