Builder of Progress

This picture was taken on the bed of a future river that is being constructed in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The idea behind this is to allow a more natural flow to the river as it exits into lake Ontario and prevent flooding in the area while creating a new area for wildlife. This new river bed is now filled with water and later this year the break walls will be removed to allow the current river to flow into this new section. This new addition to the river will flow into the slip that runs along the Lafarge property where vessels for cement unloading dock.
