Humes introduced FutureCast to the Australian market in 2023 to provide a precast concrete product that pushes the boundary in the addition of SCM content (fly-ash & slag) as a direct GP cement replacement. With up to 45% SCM content Humes sold over 280,000 tonne in 2023 and aims to increase this to over 60% of all sales in 2024. Humes FutureCast range of precast concrete products are also covered by EPD's to ensure full transparency to the consumer/asset owner.
