Builder of Progress

This photograph has ben taken during the construction of the Low Carbon House at HIC in January 2020, before ECOPact and ECOCYCLE were launched.

This picture illustrates the commitment of our workers to build lighthouse demonstrators. Indeed the Low Carbon House has been used as a full scale demonstrator of new solutions to make ECOPact.

The worker was checking the consistency of the prototype concrete specifically developed.

This concrete was, in 2020, a first of its kind:
(i) – almost fully circular (100% recycled concrete sand and aggregates, 100% recycled water and the binder was composed by 90% of blast furnace slag, by product of steel industry).
(ii) and carbon neutral (carbon captured by the recycled concrete aggregates compensated the carbon content of the other compounds).
