Builder of Progress

I am the Rehabilitation and Aquatics resources officer at Lafarge Ecosystems-Holcim Kenya. I have a unique role in the business of turning the waste quarries into paradise of Mother Nature. As a builder of growth, I focus on ensuring that I champion quarry rehabilitation in line with the sustainability goals. This is a picture of the rehabilitation work that I did in 2021 in Holcim Kenya (Bamburi cement Mombasa south quarry). I managed to successfully rehabilitate this section of the quarry which is now translating into a rich biodiversity hotspot and significant carbon sink to the industry. This picture motivates me and my team to keep up the enthusiasm and focus as builders of progress.
